Plastic Types
Polypropylene (PP)
Polypropylene is known for having good impact strength and durability. It is cost effective and provides good thermal resistance and pliability. Polypropylene components can be exposed to high heat and cleaned using an autoclave without compromising the material’s integrity.

Typical products manufactured from PP
Caps/closures/dispensing pumps for glass and plastic containers

Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE)
Type II glass containers are made from commercial soda lime glass that has been de-alkalized to obtain a great improvement in chemical resistance. A treatment applied to the internal surface of the glass reduces ion exchange, making this category suitable for solutions administered intravenously.

Typical products manufactured from LDPE
Liquid packaging, liners and bags

High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
Type III glass bottles and containers are made of untreated commercial soda-lime glass and has average or somewhat above average chemical resistance.

Typical products manufactured from HDPE
Rigid container packaging, pill packers and other pharmaceutical grade containers

Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET)
Type III glass bottles and containers are made of untreated commercial soda-lime glass and has average or somewhat above average chemical resistance.

Typical products manufactured from HDPE
Rigid container packaging, pill packers and other pharmaceutical grade containers
